Top 4 Makeup Brushes

Most of my makeup brushes are from the same brands, 3 in-particular which are Mac, Real techniques and Elf, this would have been a post on my top 5 brushes but i couldn't chose between them all for a 5th so kept it at my 4 favourite and most used brushes. Three of them are for eyes and the last is a face brush.

 Mac - 217
I recently just purchased this brush because of how much everyone always talks about it and i love it too, it is really soft so applies eye shadow really well. It works great for blending colours together and softening the edges too. This brush is one of my more expensive ones at £16 as for someone who only works Saturday this is a luxury but i love it and will definitely be trying some different Mac brushes too.

Elf - Crease brush
Firstly this brush is great for its price at only £1.95 so it is super affordable but it works well for a cheaper brand. The quality of the brush is good and works really well for applying eye shadow to the crease to blend out and i also like using this for my inner corner too as it has a smaller head.

Real techniques - Shading brush
This works really well for applying eye shadow all over the lid, with the compact bristles it picks up lots of pigment to give a bold colour. This brush is only £7.99 so not overly expensive, a good price range in between, these are easy to pick up as they're sold in most or all drug stores.

Real techniques - Expert face brush
Again this is a real techniques brush, i think this brand is just great, they're are very consistent with good results, i use this for my foundation and it blends well into the skin not leaving streak marks and at only £9.99 it is a good price.

Top 5 Nail Polish

My favourite nail polish, I couldn't just pick one as i have too many to chose from so this is my 5 favourite from the collection i have. They're nearly all different brands and all very different colours.

H&M - Bella's choice - £2.99
This is my favourite colour out of all of them, the bright blue/turquoise is great, with only one coat the colour looks bold but I always like to do two just to make sure thee are no gaps and is completely covered. It dries very quickly so a great polish if you're heading out somewhere and need to do your nails in rush.

No7 - Thunderstorm - £6.00
I love this nail polish one for its colour as it is a simple grey so looks lovely with anything without looking too dark like pure black would and also very chip resistant, I find it very hard to find a nail polish that wont chip within in a day on my nails, but this one is great and lasts for long time.

Rimmel - Caramal Cupcake - £2.69
This nail polish is from the 60 seconds collection which means it is supposed to dry in that time, and it really does, it dries super quick so you're able to do two coats without having to wait ages. This colour is great for those who don't like wearing bold colours but want something on their nails, it is very subtle but looks amazing.

Seventeen - Pink Glitter - £2.99
I have wanted one of these glitter nail polish's for a long time so i finally picked up a pink/red one, with just one coats it looks great over a coloured base, i have used black for this one as it really stands out, but you can also do multiple layers on its own to have fully glittered nails which is great for a special occasion. I will say it is a slight pain to get off with the more layers you do but that happens with any of the glitter nail polish.

Rimmel - Round And Round In Circles - £2.69
Again this is a polish from the 60 seconds collection so dries very fast. The polish is a lovely bright lemon colour, It needs 2/3 coats to make the colour really stand out and not leave it looking see through but great for summer or just adding that burst of brightness.

5 Monthly Favourites

Hey Hey,

As you are all aware, well I hope you are otherwise where have you been these past 5 days, it is now the beginning of august, so for this post today I am going to write about my top 5 beauty and fashion products for July. I have just chosen some things that I have been using a lot this month, and have really liked.

1) Simple, triple action face wash. I have been using this for a long time now, I use it every night after taking all of my make-up off to cleanse my face properly. I suffered from bad skin when I was younger so I'm conscious of it now and like to keep it looking nice, I find this wash to be really refreshing after I've used it and really helps to clean my skin and get rid of any of the dirt left. I can definitely say it has helped my spots and left me with smooth skin as well.

2) Another face product in my top 5, is the Witch, blemish stick. This is a clear stick that you can rub over any areas where you have spots or have some appearing. It helps to dry them up and get rid of them quickly. I used to think, do these things really work or are they a con for your money, but I can honestly say this works, I use it when I have spots appearing and in about 3 days they are almost gone, it doesn't leave you with scars or any marks. It's really cheap and can be picked up from any drug store or supermarket.

3) Collection lipstick in the colour pretty please. This is a lovely pinky orangey colour. I love to wear this every day with quite a simple eye make-up of just mascara and eye liner. It is not too bright but still shows you have colour on your lips. It is quite a glossy lipstick so leaves them looking nice and .... glossy. Really cheap at only £2.99 and can be picked up again from any local drug stores like boots or superdrug in the UK.

4) Number four is an accessories piece, it is a pocket watch necklace, has a butterfly designed face on a long chain, I actually got this from a little market when I went to New York in Easter, I picked it up for about $5 but I'm sure you could pick something up similar in other markets or jewellery shops. It's really great to wear with cute little day dresses, like my denim pinafore I have or just when wearing a top and jeans, it just finishes off the outfit perfectly and also easy to check the time when you need to.

5) For my final favourite of the month, I have chosen a nail varnish I got from the shop H&M in a turquoise colour, This colour is bright and gorgeous for the summer I would wear this with any outfit, I don't tend to match my nail varnish colour with my outfit unless it is a special occasion of course. It is a matte nail polish and lasts really well, I can also say it looks really nice with a sparkly top coat as well.

So that is my 5 top monthly favourites, I hope you enjoyed this and gave you any tips or help for your own products. Stay tuned and I will see you soon. xxx
