Lipstick And Lip Liner!!

I love any lipstick, lip gloss e.t.c and i have so many i just think it finishes off any look. However i realised I only own one lip liner which surprised me. So having buying one from elf I wanted to do a little review as I love it.

I haven't tried any other lip pencils so I can't compare them, and I cant say this is the best ever but what I will say is I love it and i think it works great. The colour is a pink/burgundy colour which goes great with lots of my lipsticks I own as I am a very burgundy kind of girl. I also didn't realise how well they keep lipsticks on. I use this all over the lip as a sort of base colour and it really helps to keep the colour on longer than just wearing lipstick on it's own. I have worn this for college and it helps keep for the whole day with just a little wear from eating and drinking. I definitely need to invest in a few other to go with different colour lipsticks i have like purple and light pinks, and will be trying out some different brands too, to see the differences between them.

These are a few different colour tests with the same liner and different lipsticks. The liner is from elf in the colour bitter.

Mac - Impassioned

Elf - Gypsy

Beauty And Fashion Christmas

I haven't posted in two weeks, but I've been really busy over Christmas and new year, so I thought id give myself a little break and now i will get back to blogging. I have had so many family things, my birthday and I've just got back from a weeks visit to Barcelona for New year, but that will be in my next post.

As this is my first post after Christmas I thought id show you some of the beauty and fashion related presents i got from friends and family.

Beauty:
Mac eye shadow Palette - I have wanted to start one of these for so long, So I'm very pleased to finally get one, I love these as you can make them up yourself and chose the colours you want to have, and you're able to mix and match depending on what your wearing most of at that time.

Brush roll and brushes - I do not know the make or where the brush roll is from, but it has a cute pattern on the front and it makes carrying brushes around so much easier so it was a very good and practical present. I also got two new brushes from elf, an eye crease brush and a bronze/blush brush, I like them both, they're very soft and work great.

Marc Jacobs honey perfume - I absolutely love this perfume and have wanted it for so long, so I am pleased to have got it, It was joint Christmas and birthday present (birthmas) from my brother, It smells amazing, quite sweet but I love it.

Fashion:
Onesie - I have two onesies already but you can never have two many, this is quite plain, no extravagant animal but they're comfy to wear and great for relaxing Sundays.

Cashmere jumper - Again this something I have wanted for a long time, and i was lucky enough to get this as a birthday present from my colleagues at work. It's a burgundy round neck, and if you haven't even touched cashmere what are you doing, It is super soft and comfy to wear.

Marc Jacobs watch - For my birthday I asked for a special present, of a rose gold Marc Jacobs watch, I have never been into wearing watches but I can not take this one off, the face isn't huge so it sits well on tiny wrists like mine, and isn't to heavy either.

Dresses - You can never have two many dresses, both of these are skater type dresses, the red flowered dress is from primark, so I'm guessing they are a cheap buy but I love it none the less. The blue/green lace dress is from new look witch is great for a casual day and wearing to college but I could also dress it up with some heels and wear it out for the night.

OOTD - Christmas Fun!

It is now only 14 Days, yes 2 weeks until Christmas so I thought it was definitely acceptable to bring out my new Christmas skirt and create a little outfit for this, So why not share it with everyone else. On a side note, 14 days till Christmas, 15 days till I'm 18!!!!!

There is not much writing to this post, apart from, I fell in love with this cute burgundy knitted Christmas skirt, It has a very cute reindeer and fairailse pattern on it, and for only £8 in primark I thought why not. It was surprisingly warm considering I wore only skin coloured tights underneath. I then tucked in a plain white vest top, and put on my cream spotty blazer from H&M, I love this blazer as it is a neutral colour and can be paired with most things to finish off the perfect outfit. I will however say, I am going to purchase either a cream or burgundy vest top, as I did feel the white looked slightly odd, but I had no other choice this morning.

I apologise for the bad quality photo's now.

Christmas Favourites

It is now officially December and that only means one thing, It's Christmas very very soon. I am someone that gets very excited for Christmas as soon as the 1st of December is here, I mainly blame my mum as she loves it just as much as me. As Christmas is coming and lots of you will be putting up decorations and what not soon, I thought id share some of my Christmas favourites and decoration ideas.

For beauty, my favourite things to wear this Christmas are 2 lipsticks and of course a nail varnish. For winter my favourite colours are deep plum/purple and burgundy, so of course. One of the lipsticks that I love at the moment is from collection 2000, and is only £2.99 .The second is from mac in the colour cyber which is a really deep plum colour, this is £15. Second which is great for this festive time is nail varnish, it just tops of your whole look and of course you can not have Christmas without sparkle so I am loving this gold glitter top coat from 17 which was £3.99.

Now you can not have Christmas without the amazing Christmas jumpers and t-shirts that are out this year. There are lots of great ones to chose from and I will probably be purchasing more, but at the moment my two favourite that I own are both from primark, One is a jumper that says 'I love Santa', the second is a top with a reindeer on and of course more sequins and bells too.

Last but not least is the home!!! which means lots of decorations and trees and lights and EVERYTHING. (yes I am excited). One of my most favourite things which I have decorated my room and the conservatory with is Christmas paper chains, I got these from believe it or not pound land and they are great. Finally are the trees and lights, you can not have Christmas without the sparkly lights on a Christmas tree, being lucky enough to have the space in our house we end up with 5 tress, all fake but decorated lovely, So ill share with you some pictures of those and the best decorations on them, one of those being our 2013 ball ball from Harrods.

Hope this makes you feel all Christmas festive, leave a comment sharing what your favourite Christmas things are. xxx

Elf Make-up Haul

At the beginning of November, Elf cosmetics celebrated having 20,000 follows on twitter by having a 50% off code to use online, now of course I could not resist and turn down this wonderful opportunity and went a head a bought a few different make-up pieces. I have used all of the products but not all of them enough to give amazing reviews but I still wanted to share the products I have with you.

I got 3 lipsticks, all quite similar colours, of a pinky red colour. At only £1.50 they are an absolute bargain and are really great lipsticks, the pigment is pretty good and lasts quite well too. I would say the darker shades are better lasting but maybe that is to expect.

From left to right the colours are: Gypsy, classy, fearless

Next with my purchases are 2 cream eye products. A cream eyeshadow at £3.75, this is a blue metallic colour which as you can see shows a lot more colour on the skin than when in the pot. It is again quite pigmented and because of the creamy texture you only need to apply a little bit to the eye. Also a cream eyeliner at £3.75 in black which also comes with quite a nice little angles brush to apply it with.

Colours from left to right: Teal party, black

The last things for this mini haul is powdered blush at £3.75, this is really great and quite subtle so this is really nice to wear on a day to day basis but can definitely be built up to create a darker colour. Finally a lipliner at £1.50, I wear quite a lot of burgundy or dark pinker red colours so I wanted something to wear with these to help keep the lasting time. This works really nice and easy to apply all over the lips.

Colours from left to right: bitter, mellow mauve

The prices shown above are the original prices for if you bought the products now with no offers. But all in all with 50% off I only spent roughly £8.60 which is really great value for great products.

October Haul

The month of October has been and gone, I shouldn't wish the time away, but it means it's getting closer and closer to Christmas and my 18th birthday so I can not wait. But the point of this post is, during October I ended up buying quite a few different products and clothing so I wanted to do a little haul and show you all what I got. Now for saying I am mainly a beauty blogger and love all things make-up, I could not justify spending money on non-essential products last month as some new winter clothes were a must buy for the drop in temperature in the UK.

- Acid wash jeans - £22.99
- Navy blue jeans - £19.99

- Burgundy skirt - £12.99

- Flowered 3/4 length sleeve crop top - £9.99

- H&M nail polish - £2.99

You can probably tell that my two favourite colours this season are burgundy and teal, I absolutely love them. Hope you enjoyed xxx
